This site aims to provide a brief description of CropPhenology R Package with the help file and example outputs.

The CropPhenology package is an R software package which produce crop phenological metrics in a raster format from time series remote sensing vegetation index data such as MODIS NDVI composite data (MOD15Q1). The CropPhenology package is easy to use allowing the user to progress from downloaded image to crop phenology analysis with only minor data management pre-processing steps. The package provides the user with 15 phenological based metrics which build upon those available from previous software and include new metrics suggested by the remote sensing –agricultural based literature. It is freely available for downloads from github repository.

The CropPhenology R Package is designed as part of a PhD research work of Sofanit Araya, at the Univeristy of Adelaide, School of Biological Sciences, Landscape and Spatial Science Group.

The CropPhenology R Package is well explained in a manuscript submitted to Ecological Informatics journal as an original research paper.
